Meet the Doctors
Dr. Imran Dharshi, B.Sc., D.C.
A graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic West, Dr. Imran Dharshi has been practicing chiropractic across Southern and Central Alberta for almost 15 years.
Since 2004, Dr. Dharshi has had the privilege of working at the Chiropractic Wellness Centre in Drumheller, Alberta.
A member of the Canadian Chiropractic Association and the Alberta College and Association of Chiropractors, Dr. Dharshi adheres to strict codes of conduct, professionalism and ethics in practice.
Using various techniques like Diversified, Activator, Thompson Drop and Trigger Point Therapy, Dr. Dharshi uses his experience to blend the art and science of chiropractic to help his patients meet their health and wellness goals.
Dr. Dharshi’s interests include working with paediatric patients, women and pregnancy and acupuncture as well as health and nutrition counselling. With patients ranging from a few days old to those in their nineties, Dr. Dharshi is ready to help with the healthcare needs of you and your family.
Dr. Qais Janmohamed, B.Sc., D.C.
Dr. Qais Janmohamed (you can call him Dr. J) was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta. He completed a Bachelor of Science (Maj. Kinesiology / Min. Psychology) at University of Calgary. He then went on to continue his studies in Portland, Oregon, U.S.A where he received a Bachelor of Science (Maj. Human Biology) along side of his Doctorate of Chiropractic Medicine. In his free time, Dr. Janmohamed enjoys traveling, exercising volunteering at community events and carpentry.
Dr. Janmohamed is an evidence-based practitioner who applies a conservative approach to health care. Dr. Janmohamed provides the best care for many conditions by employing the following techniques:
- Diversified manipulation of spinal and non-spinal joints
- Active Release Technique® (ART)
- Instrument assisted soft tissue manipulation (IASTM)
- Kinesio- taping
- Laser therapy
- Orthotic therapy
- Nutritional counseling
- Rehabilitative therapy
Dr. Janmohamed emphasizes on the proper function of the musculoskeletal and nervous systems in our body to help ensure proper body mechanics and optimal health. His goal is to alleviate his patient’s symptoms and also educate his patients on how to actively be involved in their own health care decisions.
